Taking the train to Bern
Bern is well connected by rail and can be reached directly from Zurich Airport as well as from major Swiss and international railway hubs such as Basel, Zurich, or Geneva.
Trains from Zurich airport to Bern take approximately 80 minutes, with direct connections throughout the day. The train stops in the airport are located downstairs (level -2; see signs for train station after arrival). Buy your ticket before you board the train, either online on the SBB-App or at the SBB-counter located on level -1 in the airport. Getting to Unitobler
The conference venue is within a 15-minute walk of Bern train station. Click here for map & directions
Alternatively, the city of Bern offers excellent public transport connections. For directions on google maps or similar, please use "Mittelstrasse" as the bus stop for the conference venue. Buses run approximately every six minutes.
Bus line 20 departs from "Schanzenstrasse" (located right next to Welle 7 at Bern main station) in the direction of “Bern Länggasse” and stops at “Mittelstrasse”. From there, it is just a short walk to the Unitobler building (entrance via Lerchenweg).
Please ensure that you have a valid ticket before boarding the bus (e.g. BERN TICKET via your hotel).

Conference Dinner at Kornhauskeller
The conference dinner will take place at Kornhauskeller Restaurant & Bar, Kornhausplatz 18, 3011 Bern.
To reach the Kornhauskeller directly from the conference venue, you can take bus line 20 from bus stop "Mittelstrasse" towards “Bern Wankdorf, Bahnhof” and get off at "Bern, Bahnhof". From there, the Kornhauskeller can be reached by a pleasant 10–15 minute walk, depending on the route you choose. The walk leads directly through Bern’s UNESCO‑listed historic town, which is largely pedestrian‑friendly and ideal for strolling. The route passes key sights including the Bundesplatz with the Bundeshaus (Federal Palace), Marktgasse, and the famous Zytglogge.
