Background:
After completing his Bachelor’s studies in Economics at the University of Mannheim, Daniel joined the Master’s in Quantitative Economics at the University of Kiel. During his Master’s studies, he completed an exchange year at the University of Stockholm and worked as a teaching assistant in Introduction to Economics and Introduction to Econometrics at the University of Kiel. After receiving the Master of Science degree in Kiel, Daniel worked at the Swiss Institute for Empirical Economic Research and, in 2021, finished his Ph.D. in Economics and Finance with a specialization in Econometrics at the University of St. Gallen. Currently, he works as a senior researcher at the Center for Research in Economics of Education and as a lecturer at the University of Bern.
