The Advisory Board consists of internationally renowned scholars from most relevant research areas for the Leading House. These include economics of education (in schools and/or training in firms), labor economics, human resource management, organizational behavior and innovation. The Board meets up to twice a year. It monitors the research, supports the program to promote young scholars in the field (for example by hosting a young scholar at their own institution) and reports to SERI.
