First Marbach Conference on "Evidence Based Educational Policy - Results from and Advantages of Experimental Evidence"

About the Conference

Organizers:

Prof. Uschi Backes-Gellner and Prof. Stefan C. Wolter with the support of the Jacobs Foundation organize a meeting of distinguished researchers of experimental research in the field of economics of education.

Aim of the Conference:

To discuss the advantages but also the barriers of experimental research amongst a small group of international specialists of experimental research in the field of economics of education.

Outcome of the Conference:

The conference identifies a small number of scientifically and politically successful experiments and the responsible researches that would constitute the input for a second conference, which would have the character of an advocacy conference for potential experimental research and takes place in May 2011.
