The purpose of this research project is a survey of the public opinion on education issues, in particular questions related to vocational education and training. The survey is a follow up on two similar studies. In the first study in 2007 we studied age specific propensities in the willingness to finance education and in second study we focused on differences in preferences and attitudes towards vocational and general education between the native population and migrants in Switzerland. The third survey, which will take place in 2015, shall be coordinated with similar surveys in the US and in Germany and therefore the particular focus of this survey has not yet been decided.
