(Die Effekte der Ausbildungsorganisation auf das betriebliche Ausbildungs- und Rekrutierungsverhalten)
Most apprentices in Switzerland receive training from a single firm and actively participate in regular production activities. However, two other important forms of training organization – training networks and internal training centers – received relatively little attention in empirical studies. The aim of this project is to analyze the efficacy and efficiency of these different forms of training organization. Such knowledge is of particular importance in the light of demographic change. More effective and efficient training not only makes the VET system a more attractive pathway for talented school-leavers, but also increases the chances for less talented school-leavers to obtain a training position.
