This project is located in the area between companies and apprentices and broaches the issue of the causes and consequences of training abandonment from an economic perspective. On the one hand, the rising number of aborted apprenticeships increases costs for companies and thus tends to lower the supply of initial training places. On the other, the long and short-term economic consequences of abandonment for the apprentices themselves are still poorly understood.
