The Program
The Swiss Leading House VPET-ECON organizes its first international conference on the economics of vocational and professional education and training (VPET) and invites young and experienced researchers alike to present their research at the conference (presentations and poster sessions).
Topics
Topics of interest include but are not limited to characteristics of training programs and labor market outcomes; educational reforms and labor market outcomes; economic shocks and apprenticeships; COVID-19 and apprenticeships; training and firm level productivity; human capital and innovation; automation, digitalization and labor market effects; interplay of cognitive and non-cognitive skills; returns to different types of education; skills formation across the life-span; and social background and educational choice.
Submission of Papers
Researchers interested in presenting at the conference are invited to submit a full paper until February 28, 2022. Authors will be informed of their acceptance by mid March 2022.
