14th Leading House Lecture on Economics of Education held by Prof. Thomas Dohmen on “Patience and the Wealth of Nations“

We are very happy to announce the 14th Leading House Lecture on Economics of Education on "Patience and the Wealth of Nations " given by Prof. Thomas Dohmen, University of Bonn.

The lecture will be held at the University of Zurich, Plattenstrasse 14, Room: PLM 103/104 on 22 November 2016, 12:00-13:00

Thomas Dohmen is Professor of Applied Microeconomics at the University of Bonn and Professor of Education and the Labour Market at Maastricht University. He is research professor at the DIW Berlin and research fellow at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA), Maastricht University and the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), Bonn. He holds a PhD in economics from Maastricht University. Thomas Dohmens’ academic research has focused on economic preferences and attitudes, behavioral economics, experimental economics, applied microeconometrics, life-cycle formation of cognitive & noncognitive skills, psychology of incentives, and personnel and organizational economics. His research is published in the American Economic Review, Economic Journal, Economic Letters, Review of Economics and Statistics, and many other top journals.
